GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Payments:
Manuvel Malabar Jewellers accepts payments using Cash, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Net-banking, UPI, cheques, demand drafts and specific wallets. Payments may be made in person at our outlets, or using our online payments gateway. Contact your CRM to know more about how to make payments online.
Cash receipts of Rs. 2.00 lakhs and above in a single day from a single customer will not be accepted.
Customers having transactions of Rs. 2.00 lakhs and above in a single day are required to furnish a self-attested copy of their PAN card.
Cheques/demand drafts deposited by a customer need to be realized by the organisation, before delivery of items or accrual of benefits, as the case may be.
Any payouts made by Manuvel Malabar Jewellers to a customer shall be thru Bank Transfer only.
To ensure the safety of all our customers, we may ask you for proof of identification in case of making payments using Credit or Debit Cards. We appreciate your cooperation in our efforts to verify our digital transactions as we take the trust of all of our stakeholders seriously.
We partner with industry leaders in Online payments to give you a great experience. We do not save your sensitive payment information with us & all payment transaction details are processed by our payment partners in accordance with industry standards & any rules set by the regulatory bodies as the case may be.
Purchases:
All jewellery sold by Manuvel Malabar Jewellers is hallmarked and certified as per applicable rules.
Some of our intricate designs are works of art that have been created with great passion by skilled goldsmiths. Due to the nature of their work, minor flaws may occur as a natural part of the production of these items. Customers accept that such items are provided as is and no future claims regarding the existence of such flaws shall be entertained by the management after the delivery of such items.
We deal exclusively in natural and ethically sourced jewellery. Any precious or semi-precious stones used in our designs are 100% natural. We work carefully with trusted partners to ensure that our customers get the finest pieces. We do not deal in artificial or lab grown jewellery of any kind.
Services:
We may provide certain ancillary services to our customers at certain outlets, including but not limited to Ear Piercing, Jewellery Polishing etc. & these services are provided as is. While we try to ensure the satisfaction of our customers in the delivery of these services, we make no guarantee of the final output provided. Any dispute regarding such matters shall be taken up on a case by case basis & all decisions by the management regarding such matters are final.
We undertake repairs or maintenance of your precious jewellery. However, please note that any material changes in the items might result in an additional cost for the material or services that are consumed.
Returns:
Manuvel Malabar Jewellers may accept the return of jewellery for the full value of the item/s as per its original invoice, provided the jewellery is brought back by the customer to the outlet of purchase & in the same condition in which it was sold & within seven (7) calendar days from the date of invoice/sale.
The outlet will not accept returns if the jewellery sold has been tampered with, altered, misused, broken, mishandled, or repaired in any way.
For accepted returns, the outlet will provide credit to the customer which can be used against their future purchases. The outlet will not refund the amount in cash or any other mode in return for the jewellery. New jewellery will have to be purchased in full value of the product returned.
Fresh purchases made against a returned product would be billed at the applicable gold rate prevailing on the date of fresh purchase only.
No return shall be accepted without the original tax invoice being presented by the customer & verification of the identity of the customer.
Exchanges:
We welcome the exchange of your gold, diamond, platinum, uncut diamond & precious gem jewellery, provided you produce a valid invoice.
Valuation of the precious metal (Gold/Silver/Platinum) shall be done at the prevailing metal rate as on the day of exchange. The weight of the metal valued will be net of all pearls, stones, lac, dust, dirt, and any other extraneous material.
In case of diamonds (cut and uncut), customers shall get up to 100% of the prevailing diamond prices. In case of ruby, emerald, sapphire, and semi-precious stones, customers shall get up to 80% of the prevailing prices of the gemstone considered.
Birthstones, coloured stones, pearls, zircons, and similar items do not possess exchange value. Making charges, taxes, and any discounts given on the original tax invoice will be fully deducted for valuation at the time of exchange.
Buyback:
100% value of the precious metal (Gold/Silver/Platinum) will be given at the prevailing metal purchase rate as on the day of buyback. The weight of the metal valued will be net of all pearls, stones, lac, dust, dirt, and any other extraneous material.
In case of diamonds (cut and uncut), customers shall get up to 90% of the prevailing diamond prices. In case of ruby, emerald, sapphire, and semi-precious stones, customers shall get up to and 70% of the prevailing prices of the gemstone considered.
Birthstones, coloured stones, pearls, zircons, and similar items do not possess exchange value. Making charges, taxes, and any discounts given on the original tax invoice will be fully deducted for valuation at the time of buyback.
Orders & Advances:
Customers can make advance payments towards their purchases. However, the final value of their purchases shall be as per the invoice date & any prepaid amount shall be treated as a credit towards settling the invoice value. Any shortfall in this amount must be paid for fully by the customer before delivery of goods.
Customers can make advance payments under specific offers, notified from time to time, enabling them to pay an advance amount to block a gold rate as on the date of booking. In such cases, the benefits of the Gold Rate blocked shall be limited to the amount prepaid. Notwithstanding the aforementioned, the Terms and Conditions of the specific offer shall supercede these General terms as applicable.
Customers will be notified thru SMS/WhatsApp/Phone/Email when their custom orders are ready. The outlet shall make every reasonable effort to contact the customer for a reasonable amount of time within the collection window. The outlet reserves the right to dispose/reallocate/melt/repurpose whole or part of the orders unclaimed by the customer beyond the collection window. Decision of the management regarding such matters shall be final & no claims related to any losses faced by the customer shall be entertained. Future claims against dormant orders where payments were received shall be reprocessed afresh.
Advance Purchase Plans:
Customers can choose to enrol in Advance Purchase Plans under various schemes as may be available at our outlets from time to time. Each Purchase Plan or Scheme Subscription Plan is governed by its own Terms & Conditions which the customer must understand and abide by to enjoy the benefits under that plan.
Payments required to be made under advance purchase plans must be made in a timely manner. Failure to do so as per the terms of the plan may lead to delay in the accrual of benefits, or cancellation of one or more benefits, as laid out in the specific terms & conditions of that plan.
Customers are expected to take advantage of the benefits of the plan within a reasonable amount of time after the maturity of their plan, called the redemption window. Unutilised plan benefits that remain beyond the redemption window of the plan will lead to the outlet classifying the plan balance account as dormant. Dormant plan balances may or may not be recoverable at a later date depending on the time elapsed & the fulfilment of documentation formalities associated with authorising the recovery process by the customer & the CRM teams, including but not limited to authenticating the identity of the claimant to the plan.
Communications & Privacy:
Manuvel Malabar Jewellers may reach out to its customers using SMS, Email or WhatsApp. Our Official channels for SMS (MANUVL / MMJMMJ / MMJ24K), email (support@manuvelmalabar.com) and WhatsApp (+918083980839) are limited to the ones mentioned above. You may also directly communicate with your CRM at the outlets concerned.
We do not sell or use your information in any other way other than to explicitly communicate with you about your transactions, your benefits or to keep you up to date with the latest in the world of Manuvel Malabar Jewellers. You can opt out of receiving promotional messages by communicating with our CRM.
By continuing to use the facilities on our domain manuvelmalabar.com or by transacting with us at our outlets, you consent to our use of your data for the purposes of maintaining our transaction history and relationship with you and to communicate with you using channels as deemed appropriately fit, including but not limited to the SMS, Email and WhatsApp channels aforementioned, with regard to this transaction, any other transaction, or any other matter that in our opinion may be relevant to you as a customer of the Manuvel Malabar Jewellers group.

Fair Usage :
Usage and availablity of all offers, discounts, redemption of loyalty points, facilities for exchanges/buybacks/returns, advance purchase plans, promotional schemes, etc to customers are subject to & governed by fair usage policies as deemed fit by the management. Fair usage in general implies that gaming of any system/offer in force (at any or all of Manuvel Malabar Jewellers outlets), so as to take undue advantage of or exploit loopholes thereof, shall be strictly prohibited. It also implies that offers/facilities mentioned above can not be used to exploit arbitrages in prices of the underlying precious metals as applicable. We retain the rights to define fair usage terms as deemed necessary from time to time & this definition does not imply an exhaustive list of all restricted scenarios.
Applicability :
Management has absolute discretion over availablity or applicability of all offers, discounts, redemption of loyalty points, facilities for exchanges/buybacks/returns, advance purchase plans, promotional schemes, etc on customers and may modify the specific terms & conditions, cancel them, or deny them, in part of whole, to one or more customers, as deemed fit by the management without any prior notice. Customers transacting with Manuvel Malabar Jewellers are governed by these Terms and Conditions as updated from time to time, & made available digitally at https://info.manuvelmalabar.com/tnc-common and they are advised to refer to the latest version of this document as required. Physical representation of these terms may or may not be reproduced in full &/or may or may not be up to date due to varying factors such as location, medium, mode, physical restrictions or other factors beyond our control or beyond the scope of reasonable actions.
Additional Terms :
Terms and Conditions of specific offers, discounts, redemption of loyalty points, facilities for exchanges/buybacks/returns, advance purchase plans, promotional schemes, etc may exist in addition to these General Terms and shall be referred to as applicable. Customers entering into a transaction are deemed to have understood the governing rules and all applicable Terms and Conditions that may be applicable on such transaction. Claims regarding ignorance of such terms shall not be entertained under any cicumstances.
Non-Jewellery Items :
Any product/service mentioned explicitly below, that may be available for sale or provided to customers at any of our outlets, shall be defined as a Non-Jewellery item. Products/Services categorised in such a manner are provided as is & are unattached to any special offers, unless explicitly specified in such offers' documentation. We can not give guarantees to the workmanship of these products if applicable, although we may try to deliver a satisfactory resolution to any concern our customers may have. Such items will not ordinarily enjoy normal benefits applicable to Jewellery items such as discounts, returns, exchanges, buybacks, loyalty point accruals or redemptions, advance purchase plan redemptions, promotional schemees, etc unless explicitly specified in any corporate communication as part of an offer or promotion. If such items are of the nature of electronic/electric devices or appliances, customers may contact the support channels of the respective manufacturers to address their concerns. These items are -

Brass articles
Watches (plated or non-plated)
Ornate frames, or religious artifacts or symbols
Gift items
Special commemorative articles (winnings, seasons greetings, welcome hampers, gift hampers etc like sarees, cakes, consumer electronics, etc)
Packing boxes, cases, containers, etc
All repair services
All ancilliary customer services (ear piercings, polishing, etc)

This entire document (GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS available digitally at https://info.manuvelmalabar.com/tnc-common) is issued by & applicable to all legal business entities operating under the brand umbrella of Manuvel Malabar Jewellers. The business and the brand name of Manuvel Malabar Jewellers is operated by & comprises of different legal entities and is subject to change as deemed fit by the management & therefore each outlet may be operated by a different legal entity. It is clarified that these terms mentioned herein are applicable to all entities below mentioned, and to all outlets operating under each respective entity.. Transactions of customers at an outlet shall therefore form a transactional relationship (or contract as the case may be) and these terms shall be binding between the customer and the legal entity operating that specific outlet.
